Are we enabling the STIGMA on GUN violence?

Are we pointing blame in the right direction? Are the "mentally ill" always responsible?

First of all, there is no way to define "mental health conditions" as a whole without ruling out the 1-in-5 Americans (currently) diagnosed with some sort of mental health condition.

It's easy to simply lump every person causing mass violence into a "crazy bucket".

Isn't it easy to not actually know what on earth possessed these {mainly} child-mass-murderers in the first place?

The devil? Of course.

Abuse? Definitely.

Trauma? Standard Issue.

The massively disappointing school systems are consistently burrowing their heads in the sand and tripping on their own dicks to blame shift.

This is OUR PROBLEM!!! This means YOU, it means me. It means every person of every race, creed, ideals and beliefs! This means rich, poor, and anyone with body piercing or tattoos. Anyone that owns blue jeans and anyone that likes beer for breakfast.

Everyone with a PULSE needs to wake up and be aware.

If we wait around for the "professionals" to do their job, we ourselves BECOME the blame shifters.

I'm not suggesting to look for someone with questionable looks or actions. Good luck not finding a questionable person.

There are warning signs as to the background/base of often times a combination of multiple factors. Hence, causing a human to need the United States' Human Services "system" in the first place.

Sadly, most of the factors are born from poverty which also sadly grips the balances from the same for a double whammy.

I'm a mother of three. The constant news of horrific gun violence, particularly against children and the innocent, is enough to make anyone wonder one simply agonizing word - ?!WHY!?

We want answers and we want them now. So we blame the gun manufacturers. I understand the argument about assault weapons. The ability to do so much unholy damage in such a short period of time is abominable.

How do assault weapons - LOADED - get into the hands of children and clearly troubled people in the first place?

It all starts at home.

HATE of all forms is taught and passed from generation to generation - until we stop it.

  • HOW unreal is it that parents of minor mass shooter's are not being held accountable for their own disastrous offspring (or dependents)?

Of these adults called "parents" who are responsible for these monsters,

Who wouldn't claim oblivion?

  • HOW does a D.A. screw up so badly in the jury selection process on a clear slam-dunk death penalty?

  • HOW do first responders stand around waiting for orders when babies are being blown apart?

  • Who chooses the school security first responding staff? The schools themselves? Are they mainly rent-a-cop's? Do their orders come from a cell phone that they're required to stand and stare at, rather than do anything?

  • MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHO will ever take responsibility for ANYTHING?

It's no wonder nobody is "United" in these "States" anymore. God fearing people like me don't even know our neighbors, much less love them.

In my opinion, we are throwing crucial dollars into fighting the wrong enemy.

How did the Prohibition work out?

People are going to get these weapons ANYWAY - and sacrifice more lives in doing it.

The more the weapons manufacturers make assault weapons better, cooler, faster and better, they will be gotten.

Until the end of time.

Not enough people are being responsible and/or exercising proactive prevention when they see warning signs. Nobody is being held accountable. Nobody is holding THEMSELVES accountable, so it seems.

Our own CDC says 11% of the United States as a whole suffer from ADHD. Millions of children have been diagnosed as well. The ADHD state prescription estimates range from 38% to 81% in kids!

Takeda, a Japanese organization with 240 years of heritage as well as partial American and British roots, has researched these issues, as they are a biopharmaceutical global leader.

It's in Takeda's best interest to have accurate data considering the blindingly astounding dollars on the line with every decision they make.

Their study showed that of countries of the World Health Organization [WHO] the United States has the HIGHEST rate of diagnosed ADHD. And the lowest? Certainly not my first guess. Iraq.

While ADHD isn't the only mood altering disorder, I chose it because it's a common condition that we (also) find easy to blame.

I found an article that summed up everything that I was trying to express from an expert's point of view. This is a worthy 16 minute read if you've read this far.

This is from the American Psychological Association:

Mental illness and violence: Debunking myths, addressing realities

"A growing body of research is helping to tease apart why some people with serious mental illness are prone to violence while others are not, and how clinicians and others can help through improved treatment and informed myth-busting."

justexhale.org is not an organization yet.

I sincerely doubt the State of Colorado would allow that.
